Basic Information

• App Login: To utilize the app, users must register either through the home screen's "Sign Up" button at the bottom or via the KGM LINK website (https://kgmlink.kg-mobility.com). Upon first login, users need to navigate to the menu at the top right, select "Register Vehicle Information", then "Find Service-Registered Vehicles", verify their phone number, and complete vehicle registration to view registered vehicles.
• Alternative Login Options: For accessing vehicle voice recognition features, Home IoT services, or music services (for premium subscribers), users are required to log in through specific pathways:
  • Naver Clova: Service Info > Additional Services > Naver Clova Login
  • Music Service: Service Info > Additional Services > Music Login
  • Home IoT: Service Info > Additional Services > Smart Home Login
• Selecting a Vehicle for Service Use: If users own multiple KGM LINK vehicles under the same name, they can select which vehicle to operate by tapping on the vehicle number displayed on the first screen after logging in.

Provided Features

1. Remote Vehicle Control
Engine Start/Stop and Air Conditioning Control: Users can remotely start their engine to preheat or defrost the vehicle before boarding. During remote start, they can also turn off the engine via the app. Additionally, it allows activation of air conditioning or heating, and control of front windshield defogger and rear window heater to ensure a comfortable environment prior to driving. Important Notices: The operation is subject to local regulations regarding idling restrictions, which vary by jurisdiction. The remote start and climate control services will not function under certain conditions: Vehicle in non-normal start modes (e.g., ACC or ON positions, engine idling, or during driving) Gear not in Park (P) position Doors not securely locked Open doors, hood, or tailgate Detected issues with vehicle power or steering system Safety-Related Disabling Conditions: The service will automatically terminate if: The door is opened and smart key authentication fails (normal operation resumes upon successful smart key authentication) Anomalies detected in door, hood, or tailgate status Movement detected during remote start execution The driver operates brake pedal, presses start switch, or shifts gears (excluding Park)
2. Remote Horn and Emergency Lights Control
This feature helps locate a parked vehicle by activating the horn and hazard lights for 30 seconds. It can be stopped early via the app within the same timeframe. Cautions: Activation requires a stationary vehicle. It does not operate during normal engine startup or while driving.
3. Remote Door Lock/Unlock
If users lack a smart key, are unsure about door lock status, or wish to remotely assist others, they can unlock or lock vehicle doors via the app. Cautions: Only use when parked securely in safe areas. Does not operate when the vehicle is in motion or when theft alarms are active. Cannot unlock driver’s door if safety settings prevent it.
4. Vehicle Status Inquiry
Find My Vehicle: Users can view their car’s location on a map when within 1 km of the vehicle, assuming GPS signal is available. The map displays both vehicle and user location. Keep phone GPS enabled for accuracy. Be aware that GPS signals may be less reliable indoors or in densely built areas. Vehicle Condition Checks: Status of doors (open/closed/locked), sunroof, tailgate, hood, headlamps, and engine start status can all be monitored through the app. The accuracy of these data points may vary based on car model and options. Vehicle Diagnostics: If dashboard warning lights illuminate or blinking indicates issues, diagnostic data can be analyzed to guide maintenance decisions. Note that diagnostics could be limited if external devices are connected.
5. Destination Sending
The app allows sending recent or recurrent destinations stored on your phone directly to your vehicle’s navigation system. You can review recent destinations and set automatic transmission for repeat trips. Please refer to your AVN user manual for navigation instructions.
6. Monthly Vehicle Report
A comprehensive report is generated once per month detailing driving data from the past month—such as mileage, abnormal events, and recommended maintenance intervals.
7. Driving History Information
You can access detailed driving logs over periods of 1 month up to 1 year, including distance traveled, duration, and fuel efficiency.
8. Sacrificial Parts Management
The app records history of part replacements. Additionally, AVN provides timely notifications for upcoming replacement due dates based on usage data separate from app entries.
9. User Account Management
You can review personal information and modify your password within the app settings.
10. Your Vehicles List
This feature displays vehicles registered under your KGM LINK account. Multiple vehicles may appear depending on registration status.
